VERTEBRATE PALEONTOLOGY & ICHNOFOSSILS

The Fossil Vertebrate and Ichnofossil Collection in the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History has focused on the Paleogene fossil record of the Rocky Mountain region, but our collections range throughout the Phanerozoic and originate from localities around the world. The Vertebrate Fossil Collections has an outstanding collection of Cenozoic mammals.

We are a Federal- and State-recognized repository, and we work with numerous researchers and consultants conducting field studies throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
