MFS GRADUATE PROGRAM - HUMAN SUBJECTS REVIEW

All Museum and Field Studies research projects leading to a thesis or project that involve living human beings must be cleared by the Institutional Review Board (formerly Human Research Committee). If the Graduate School determines that proper review procedures were not followed, it will not accept a thesis regardless of its scholarly or scientific content. Human Subjects Review is sometimes a lengthy process and students are urged to begin that process well in advance of their research.
