ZOOLOGY COLLECTIONS

The Zoology Section's collections are divided into five groups: mollusks and invertebrates, fishes, amphibians and reptiles, birds, and mammals. All are the largest collections of their kind in Colorado, except the bird collection which is the second largest. Additionally, the Zoology Section maintains educational collections for use by university classes, K-12 education, and nature centers.
