DIATOM DATABASES & RESEARCH TOOLS
Our lab is developing an on-line identification system for the diatoms of southern California. We are also collaborating with colleagues at United States Geological Survey and Environmental Protection Agency, the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, and other organizations across North America to develop an on-line identification system for diatoms of the United States. We continue to work with colleagues at the California Academy of Sciences to continue work on the Catalogue of Diatom Names.
