MFS GRADUATE PROGRAM - FINANCIAL SUPPORT

A limited number of graduate assistantships are available in the museum and working for Museum and Field Studies faculty. Graduate assistants in the MFS program may work in collections, public programs, exhibits, research, and other areas relevant to museum and field studies.

Although the program strives to provide the maximum opportunities for funding for all of its Masters students, this does not guarantee any level of funding for any individual student. Further financial aid information can be obtained from the Office of Financial Aid website.

Professional Certificate students whose primary enrollment is in another department can seek financial support through their primary department.

A variety of competitive grants are available to fund student research and travel to conferences. For more information, see Museum Scholarships & Awards and United Government of Graduate Students Sponsored Funding and Awards. Faculty advisors can provide advice on additional sources of funding.
