Dulce Aldama

Public Programs Coordinator

Dulce worked in the Museum of Anthropology at Arizona State University from 1996-2003 as the exhibits coordinator. From 1999-2000, Dulce worked as a Visiting Curator in the Art Museum of the University of California, Santa Barbara, collaborating on the traveling exhibition Just Another Poster? Chicano Graphic Arts in California. She has a graduate certificate in Museum Studies from Arizona State University. Her academic interests in the museum studies field involve how under-represented communities create community-based museums to record and reflect culture and history. In the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History's Public Programs office, Dulce with the help of students, plans and develops lectures and special events for the general public. She is also in charge of the publicity of the events and the Museum's membership program.
